Your back is stiff. The yoga photos don’t help.
You spend most of the day sitting at a desk, and by the evening your back feels stiff. You’ve thought about yoga. Then you see the photos: people folded in half, balancing on one hand, in a room lined with mirrors.
It’s easy to decide yoga is for bendy people, and not for you.
Stillwater’s classes are for people who feel that way. Every class is for beginners, there are no mirrors, and there are never more than 12 people in the room.
Your first class is free. The Intro Month is £39.

Fair questions before your first class
I’m not flexible. Is that a problem?
No. Every class is beginner-only, and stiff is a normal place to start.
Will people be watching me?
There are no mirrors in the room and never more than 12 people in a class, so there’s less to compare yourself with.
What do I need to bring?
Mats and blocks are provided. Wear something you can move in.
I have a bad back. Is yoga right for me?
We can’t give medical advice. If you have an injury, pain or a medical condition, check with your GP or physiotherapist before your first class.
What if I change my mind?
